2008 Client EventThynne & Macartney rolled out the red carpet at Customs House on Thursday 7 August to thank our clients and to celebrate the merger with Biggs & Biggs.Over 200 guests attended the event including representatives from CGU, Parmalat, City Beach, the Catholic Archdiocese, News Limited, Queensland Newspapers, Rabobank Australia and the Uniting Church in Australia. Many of the firm’s rural clients in Brisbane for the Ekka, had travelled from as far as Charters Towers. John Moore, Chairman of Partners addressed the guests, attributing the firm’s success to the continued support from the firm’s clients. John said in his speech that many of the firm’s clients have been with the firm for over 100 years, a testament to the strength of our client relationships.
